A Canadian man was witness to a very rare sight this week, and managed to capture it on video.

Manitoba Hydro shared a video that was taken by one of their employees, Shaun Kirchmann, on the highway to Grand Rapids.

The video shows a mother lynx crossing the road with her five cubs.

The hydro company said that Kirchmann started filming after he spotted a bunch of little heads peeking out from the trees.

The stealthy Canadian cat hunts at night and avoids humans. It’s rare to see a solitary lynx, let alone a family.

People are in awe of the rare sight, and the video has already gained 333,000 views on Facebook.
